Can’t figure out what to wear for your Senior photo session? I’ve got you covered!Here are some tips to help get you started.
What’s most important is that you choose what you feel comfortable and confident in! Whether it be casual, formal, edgy, or a little bit of each. This is a time of your life you’re always going to look back on. Everything about your session should scream, “This is me!”
Tip #1 Comfort and confidence is everything.
It goes without saying that when we feel confident, we put forth our best selves. Let your personality shine, and your confidence soar through the outfit(s) you choose to wear!
Consider colors and fits that flatter you best. Solid neutrals and earthy tones will always be my go-to’s for suggested colors. You can include fun patterns, but keep it simple so that it doesn’t take away from the important subject…you! If you do opt for patterns, choose either a top or bottom with pattern and have the opposite be solid. Avoid clothing with bright/neon colors, logos(unless preferred), and busy patterns.
Tip #2 Layers
Adding layers can really add versatility to the session while giving options for posing. Adding a denim jacket, a vest, sweater, or scarf can add some extra texture/depth in your photos. Just make sure they are weather appropriate as to not overheat!
